I am an aspiring web and software developer.

I have been passionate about technology, code, and understanding the way things work for as long as I can remember. For the last 7 years, I made a career as a manufacturing line operator, bottling beer in San Francisco, CA and now bottling baby formula here in Columbus, OH. I have excelled in this career because of my ability to quickly understand and troubleshoot technical and mechanical problems, work on a team, and take a detail-oriented approach in a highly regulated food and beverage industry.

In order to follow my passion while also better supporting my growing family, I am now pursuing a career in software development. I have been interested in code since I was a kid when my dad taught me BASIC. Since then, I’ve created several Arduino/C++ projects including a temperature and humidity logger for my backyard chicken coop. Most recently, I completed the JS coding bootcamp with CareerFoundry which allowed me to work at my own pace while also working full time.

I have an endless list of web and arduino projects I’d like to create, and not enough time to make them all happen. But, I’ve always got a project going on that allows me to continue learning and helps me stay up to date on the current technologies.
